Volunteer MBC Reboots Prestigious V-Oscars Awards with a Cinematic Twist
BRAMPTON, ON, June 9th, 2023 – Volunteer MBC will roll out on June 21st the green carpet for the 2023 V-Oscars Volunteer Recognition Awards presented by Maritime Ontario, a unique opportunity for the whole community to appreciate its volunteers in style. A first in its 13-year history, the annual volunteer recognition awards will spotlight Peel’s most outstanding volunteers in a movie theatre. In-person and virtual tickets to this event are now available at bit.ly/2023VOscars.
“This is our chance to give volunteers the star treatment they deserve for their contributions to our community,” declares Carine Strong, Volunteer MBC’s Executive Director. “What better place to host this extravaganza than at Cineplex Cinemas in the heart of Mississauga, where we can offer everyone an unforgettable blockbuster night!”
Jake Dheer (pictured here) will emcee this sensational evening when guests can participate in fun interactive games and win prizes, experience the thrill of an amazing live auction, enjoy live music featuring rising R&B vocalist Sukhi Kay, indulge in buttery popcorn, walk through the Vollywood Walk of Fame sponsored by GiveLife365, and immerse themselves in the magic of the movies with inspiring volunteer stories on the big screen.
