Virtual Volunteer Management

Following the Volunteer Management cycle, each module in this series covers a stage of the cycle through the lens of online needs and considerations. The first in the series is 'Preparing for Virtual Volunteering,' which addresses the program and policy planning stage followed by virtual role planning and descriptions

Program Objective
The aim of the course is to aid Volunteer Managers to navigate the process of creating or transitioning volunteer programming into virtual environments.

By exploring all chapters, in the context of virtual volunteer engagement, you will be able to;

  • Identify key systems required for optimal transitioning into virtual spaces
  • Develop role descriptions and identify the ideal volunteer recruitment plan
  • Identify key considerations required for optimal virtual volunteer screening
  • Plan out the orientation and training activities to help the volunteer start on the right note
  • Consider the volunteer retention and recognition strategies
 
Certificate: Once you have completed going through all 5 modules, you will be issued a “Certificate of Completion” which can be downloaded and printed. This certificate will available in the 'Certificate section tile which opens upon completion of all modules.
