A Membership with Volunteer MBC brings you into our family of not-for-profit organizations of Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon, that together, strive to improve lives through volunteerism. Every Member Organization adds value to the whole. Therefore, accessing Member benefits is not like accessing a service from a business—rather it is a joint effort between all Volunteer MBC Member Organizations to find better ways of reaching and engaging our community. It is a process we are continuously iterating and improving upon and we welcome your suggestions and insight.

The Membership fees are based upon the Membership Level you select. As seen in the Membership table, per year it is $75 for Subscribers, $180 for Members, $300 for Enterprises, and $1000 for Sustainers. You would pay this fee to complete the sign-up process.

Your invoice will be sent automatically to you at the end of the previous year.
The membership period lasts for one calendar year from January 1st – December 31st.
You can sign up for a membership at anytime during the year.
Yes, an organization can be a member if it’s located outside of Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon) as long as its programming and services, including volunteering opportunities, benefit residents living in Peel Region.
Our Online Volunteer Referral System works similar to a job search website. Organizations can create posts to share as many volunteer opportunities as they like. People can easily apply to the opportunities in one click which then notifies the organization, so that they can begin their screening and recruitment processes.

There are many benefits for choosing to become a member at VMBC. One of the many benefits include unlimited volunteer postings for your organization. Membership is divided into three levels, basic, premium and enterprise, each with different benefits and offerings. To learn more about membership benefits and plans, click here.
Currently, we do not provide any payment gateways when becoming a member. However, we email the invoice to the member and it has this message:
