This fall, we go back to where it all started.

Volunteer MBC presents its 9th annual V-Oscars, and this year we’re coming home to Sagan Banquet Hall to bring you the biggest Volunteer Recognition Award Gala that Peel region has ever seen.

Just like high school alumni return for Homecoming every fall, we’ll be crowning the exceptional volunteers of Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon on September 18, 2024.

What is the V-Oscars?

The V-Oscars Volunteer Recognition Awards is the premier Volunteer Recognition Awards event in Peel. The V-Oscars present a unique opportunity for Volunteer MBC member organizations to show how much they appreciate their outstanding volunteers and give them an experience unlike any other. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together to thank people who have given their time. This year’s V-Oscars promises to be a night of sophistication and celebration, filled with fine dining, captivating entertainment, and inspiring stories. Come dressed in your finest attire to recognize those who give so much but ask for so little. In light of our return to our roots and how volunteers have made Peel not just a nice place, but a warm home, we have embraced the theme of Homecoming.

Who is behind the V-Oscars?

The V-Oscars is brought to you by Volunteer MBC, the local volunteer centre serving Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon. Volunteer MBC is a registered charity with a vision to improve lives through volunteerism. Volunteer MBC promotes and strengthens volunteerism in Peel region. We like to thank volunteers serving the many worthy causes in our communities, and inspire others to take their next steps in their volunteer journey. Where is the V-Oscars held?

The V-Oscars event will be held at the elegant Sagan Banquet Hall and Convention Centre, located at 7180 Edwards Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5S 1Z1. This premier venue is known for its sophisticated ambiance and exceptional service, making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of celebration.

When is the V-Oscars?

Join us for the V-Oscars on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (EDT). It’s an evening you won’t want to miss, filled with excitement and celebration!

Tickets will be made available for sale on August 5, 2024. By purchasing a ticket, you’re honouring the volunteer nominees who attend free. Support us in putting on this amazing gala dinner for them.
