Kathleen Douglass

35 years of international experience working at both the field and leadership levels with formal education in the not-for-profit sector has given Kathleen a solid background in understanding the unique roles of working equally in the voluntary and private sectors.

As the Principal at Douglass Leadership Group, she is a long-time facilitator through VMBC; she presents the board governance workshops and board related webinars on a regular basis. Over the years, she has presented at international events and conferences; and has worked as a certified trainer for the U.N. Rights of the Child training workshops.

Kathleen has served on the PAVRO board as a Director and President. In the 38 years that she has been a member of Zonta (an international service club empowering women through service and advocacy)| she has served at the most senior levels including the international board of directors, bylaws and advocacy committee and currently the Leadership Development Committee. A long-time volunteer in the Brampton community, she has worked as a program delivery volunteer and at the leadership level.
