GoalA recently founded not-for-profit cultural association (2021), Caledon South Asian Association (CSAA) is expanding its presence in the Town of Caledon for the purpose of increasing cultural awareness of South Asian culture to the residents of Caledon and facilitating access to resources and help ensure accessible resources and services are available to South Asians in Caledon that they are most in need of. |

DescriptionOur Event Volunteer is an ambassador on Canada Day ('Celebrate Caledon') for the Caledon South Asian Association, ready and eager to engage and inform event attendees about CSAA. See GOAL, above, and bottled water will be available to hand to those members of the public who express interest in CSSA. See TIME COMMITMENT, below, for details about shifts. 'Celebrate Caledon' takes place at the Albion Hills Conservation Park (see MAP, below), and prospective volunteers are advised that the event site not accessible by public transit. Canada Day is less than 2 weeks away. PLEASE APPLY WITHOUT DELAY, and no later than June 29th. Volunteers with 'profiles' within Volunteer MBC's Referral System can 'click' the yellow box 'Apply Now!' (above) to send their name/contact info to CSAA directly. If you do not have a 'volunteer profile', you are invited to create one. You may also contact CSAA by email enquiry or by telephone (see How to Contact, below). After you have applied, kindly monitor your email (incl. 'Junk/Spam' folders) and leave space on your voicemail for communications from CSAA. Thank you! |

Time CommitmentThis is a Special Event commitment starting 2022-07-01 AND ending 2022-07-01
Shifts are available on the following days - Friday Afternoon, Friday Evening EVENT DATE: July 1st, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Shifts will be assigned, depending on your availability, and may be 1, 2, to a maximum of 4, hours each). |

TrainingVolunteers will have an ORIENTATION to CSAA and the volunteering 'role' and event site, before their shift begins. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for the orientation. |
