The Harris Brand Foundation (Foundation) has been founded with the mandate to advance education by providing publicly available scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to Student-Athlete individuals pursuing elementary, secondary and or postsecondary education.Our outreach focuses on working with like-minded individuals from the private and corporate sectors to curate meaningful and impactful sponsorship opportunities for its qualified donees. Our slogan: Financially supporting Student-Athletes with their Dreams.

Charity Bingo Volunteers are needed to represent The Harris Brand Foundation at the RAMA Gaming House, located at 2295 Battleford Road, in Mississauga (see MAP, below). Revenue from Charity Bingo received by The Harris Brand Foundation is allocated to fund our scholarship initiatives.


> Bingo volunteers share information about our organization with the guests (players). They also provide general customer service, deliver food orders, call back Bingos and balls tickets, assist with clean-up, and answer or redirect questions about the game and/or Bingo Hall procedures and regulations.

>> This role is best suited to an individual with either an outgoing personality, or the ability to interact comfortably with people of all ages and backgrounds. As well as being an onsite representative for our Foundation, the volunteers' interactions with staff and patrons should contribute to a positive, engaging overall atmosphere and experience for all.

>>> The Harris Brand Foundation will be at RAMA Mississauga 2 shifts a month, throughout 2022. Shifts will run in the evenings, no later than MIDNIGHT (shift length is 2 hours)Successful candidates can select the shifts they are interested in based on their availability, and shifts will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Please note that this position requires that the representative remain standing on the Bingo floor for the duration of the session (2 hours), moving throughout the Bingo Hall.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 ADVISORY: Due to the ongoing presence of the virus and its variants, volunteers will not be required to closely interact with patrons, but rather our volunteers mainly will be at the front door greeting customers and reminding them to sanitize their hands.

The 'role' includes the following requirements:

  • Ability/commitment to be a personable onsite representative ('ambassador') for our Foundation
  • Through positive, helpful interactions with staff and patrons, beneficial contribution to the overall atmosphere and experience for all
  • Ability to remain standing (and mobile) throughout the Bingo sessions conducted by the Hall (your 2-hour shift)
  • Reliable/punctual, organized, able to strictly comply with the schedule indicated for the organization
  • Compliance with OLG dress code guidelines (golf shirt provided)
  • Compliance with COVID-19 health & safety procedures (see DESCRIPTION, above, and the Advisory, below)
  • Compulsory attendance at an OLG training session before working their first Bingo shift
  • You are able to provide a satisfactory Police Check and Proof of Vaccination

PLEASE NOTE that volunteers in this role will not be required to handle cash or supervise Bingo games.
