Goal

Vita Centre is dedicated to excellent support, education, and counselling for pregnant and parenting women and men (aged 15 - 30 years). Our vision is to achieve a community where a youthful family in a vulnerable situation can make positive choices for life, even in undesirable circumstances, and where they will be accepted and supported, thereby promoting and realizing positive outcomes for their child.

Achieving charitable status in 1991, Vita Centre has grown to where currently we provide assistance to more than 600 pregnant and parenting youth in Peel region. Through our various counselling and youth centered programs, clients are able to make positive decisions for themselves and their child, are connected to community resources, helped to complete their education, attend parenting classes and are even provided with tangible supplies to help them with their parenting journey.

As our communities begin to emerge from COVID-19, we are looking forward to the restoration of fundraising events, whether these are virtual, or return to in person experiences.
