Position: 2828 - Volunteer Drivers
Organization: Good Neighbour Project
Location: Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, Virtual
GoalThe Good Neighbour Project (GNP) started on March 14, 2020 in response to how seniors and persons with disabilities or residents otherwise classified as 'vulnerable' (immununecompromised, 'self-isolated'/quarantined, pregnant persons, single parents), plus 'essential service' workers, were unable to access groceries when the pandemic first started. We offer a delivery system coordinated through our hotlines as well as support for organizations, food banks and community centres that work with vulnerable people. HIGH DEMAND for 'Volunteer Drivers' has continued into a modified 'Stage 2' for the communities in Peel region (and Toronto). The GNP appeals to you to get engaged within your local community in a very meaningful 'role' that has DIRECT IMPACT. See 'Description', above, for details. DON'T DELAY. APPLY NOW! |
