The Lakeview Farmers Market focuses on supporting locally grown and sourced healthy food, organic and artisanal products that provide an income opportunity for local farmers, producers and artisans.  Creative Hub 1352 has opened the third season of Lakeview Farmers Market at Small Arms Inspection Building, 1352 Lakeshore Road East at the foot of Dixie Road (see MAP, below).  The Market will run every Sunday from 9am to 2pm.Volunteers are essential to the success of the Lakeview Farmers Market. We're recruiting NOW for this seasonal opportunity.


Volunteer Market Attendants are needed to assist before the Market opens on a Sunday, during its operation, and after it closes. Several 'roles' are available, and volunteers may float between assignments, depending on needs and flow of customers. Most 'roles' do not require prior training or experience, just a wonderfully positive attitude!

Duties include: 

  • Set up and tear down
  • Foot traffic control
  • Greeting visitors on arrival, operation of an 'information booth' (and collecting data)
  • Cafe
  • Keeping the Market & outlying area clean and more!

>>> Volunteers can sign up for one Sunday, or many Sundays. TWO (2) volunteer shifts, starting at 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM, respectively (see TIME COMMITMENT, below).

  • Minimum Age - 15 (volunteers under 18 will require a parent/guardian to sign a waiver provided by Creative Hub 1352 prior to engagement)

Time Commitment
This is a Medium Term (4 - 6 months) commitment starting 2022-06-19 AND ending 2022-11-27
Shifts are available on the following days
 - Sunday Morning, Sunday Afternoon

WEEKLY on SUNDAY: Volunteers are required to arrive on site at 7:30 AM or 11:00 AM. Volunteers are not required to work each and every Sunday (you may choose dates based on availability).
Shifts are broken down as follows: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM / 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
LOCATION is 'Transit Friendly' (see MAP, below) > Please factor in travel time to the Small Arms Inspection Building, so you arrive on time for your shift(s). Thank you!
