Activities: Crafting holiday cards for community members living in isolation
Description: Join us on December 7th for a special International Volunteer Day Peel Cares Event, allowing youth and older adults to come together for a day of creativity, connection, and shared purpose. Participants will create handmade holiday cards together for community members living in isolation. You will have the opportunity to share stories, make memories and celebrate the warmth and joy of making new friendships. A holiday themed lunch will be provided, along with engaging crafts and activities, to add to the fulfilling feeling of giving back.
This event also marks the launch of the Peel Cares Campaign, an initiative dedicated to supporting youth programming across Peel Region. Celebrate the season, meet new friends, and make a meaningful impact in your community!
As an added bonus, youth can earn volunteer hours!
